I decided to acquire an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription. I’ve been slightly out of the loop when it came to the traditional Adobe applications of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The last version of the software I have is CS3 that I was able to buy for student pricing before I graduated undergrad. Thankfully, with that I was able to take advantage of the introductory pricing for the subscription.
I am loving the ability to download the software of my choosing on whichever machine I own. I have both PC and Mac and it’s a feature that is just necessary at this point for me. Photoshop is coming back to me, however, I’ve been interested in learning LightRoom, Edge, and Muse. I’ll then be looking to try out the rest of the apps.
Muse so far seems like an odd duck to me. Maybe it’s because I’m looking to be able to implement advanced actions that Edge seems to be able to do but with the structure Muse offers. It’ll be interesting to see what else I can make of it in the mean time.
