This little website has been running on Dreamhost for a little while now and I’m pretty happy with it. Who knew a webhost would be so awesome as to give an opportunity to it’s customers a chance to visit to an opening of a brand new data center? In this case, this particular data center is owned by RagingWire.

I took a few snapshots of the event, please forgive the terrible quality as I did not think to even bring my proper camera with me. D’oh!

It began with a tour of the facilities, then to a short cocktail hour. Right into the ribbon cutting ceremony and show with Cirque Vertigo.  It’s a great thing to be able to see efforts like this in tech and meet the people behind it.
